What is a Medical Pedicure?

The Medical Pedicure is an intensive, non-invasive treatment which looks after the health of your feet, keeping them in tip top condition, and looking good too.

It includes the safe removal of corns, calluses, and hard, dry skin, a foot and leg massage, as well as thorough check on the health and condition of your feet.

In contrast to a regular pedicure, my Medical Pedicure uses specialised tools that have been routinely sterilised between clients.

Hygiene or sanitation standards cannot always be guaranteed in popular nail salons. With a higher turnover, standards tend to decrease and the likelihood of fungal infections, cross-contamination or ingrown nails (due to poor cutting) increases.

You also have the advantage of having your pedicure carried out in the comfort of your own home, taking the stress out of travel and parking.

What Happens During Your Medical Pedicure?

I’ll begin with a thorough health check of your feet. Then after the safe removal of corns, calluses, and hard, dry skin, I will follow with a routine pedicure where toenails are shaped, buffed and cut, together with a cuticle treatment; deep exfoliation, followed by a mini massage and foot cream application.

You also have the option (at no extra cost) of a conditioning nail varnish with various shades available.

The treatment leaves your feet looking and feeling healthy, attractive and revitalised. The treatment uses a range of professional foot products to suit your skin type. You can also add on optional extras such as verruca removal, ingrown toenail treatment, padding strapping as well as fungal nail treatment.
